Disapproval Committee Meeting Room
Lamonts is the place to be friday nights. Light banter and off the wall jokes are the fare here so be warned.

And, yep, definitely no good sing-along themes these days. Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones. They're a modern, stone-age family.

I just put a song into several members heads, and it'll haunt them for the rest of the day. Twisted Evil

Confound you Beer-Ear for 90 mins. I could not get that song out of my head but then I struggled to get control and ... I thought:

Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

Take That!

Please lets call this quits before someone brings up the theme song from Gilligan's Isle ... oops too late ... I can hear the music already
"A three hour tour ... a three hour tour" ---

Is there no end to this madness??

I prefer the end theme. "Now this is a tale of our castaways, they're here for a long, long while."

Why can't I recall the theme from Hill Street Blues? I know it had a life of its own on radio, but I can't remember it.

Could someone hum a few bars? I keep reverting to the theme from St. Elsewhere.

Actually, you've hit upon the cure, Rupert. This actually works. If someoe gets a song in your head that you can't stand anymore, sing the words of "Gilligan's Isle" to the tune of "Amazing Grace" or vice versa. The act of combining the two seems to drive any song out of your head. (Before you test it out though, it only works a few times. Once it's no longer an effort, the trick loses it's powers)
