You want to remember that Captain Mephisto is a little tricky and may have disguised his real boat Razz

Folk's,

If there's a consensus, we could always take the Cobalt Clubs official yacht, the Tiger.

While it's true she requires a deep water port, her dinghy will allow us to anchor offshore anywhere in the world and still have access to just about any place.

And the helicopters may come in handy as well.

Additionally, Frenchie will be coming along on the adventure. He'll take on most of the cooking and is also very capable and willing in a fight.

Harley,

Please note the name of that boat. And that is Captain Jack, not Mephisto at the stern.

Now be nice or I will reveal that your name is actually Suzukirider. Shocked

And Space_Cadet,

Frenchy says you're right about his being capable, but he's only going to assist RickyLynn with the cooking, which ever ship we take.

I still think "The Devil's Girl" would be best, as I use Tessaract Technology on the inside of the ship. Looks like a small sailing vessel outwardly, but we could put the Tiger in the hold and have room left over. Two aquaracer engines hidden at the keel give her over 115 knots per hour, wavesplitter forcefield projection to allow the hull not to be crushed by full speed manuevers, and 20 high tech weapons of various design for defense or offense as the case may be. Also Inertial Absorbers and Dampeners to ensure that everyone and everything remains in place.

What do you think?

I KNEW you were related to the Time Lord, Captain. Bigger on the inside than it is on the outside is the same technology used in the Tardis. WONDERFUL!

I like the idea of stowing the Tiger and all of its ordinance in the hold. Golf, anyone? Very Happy

I'm so glad Frenchie is coming with us. I'm sure he and I will be able to work very well together as co-chefs. It will be my pleasure to assist him in his specialities and I'm sure he'll assist me in mine. One way or the other, the food on the trip will be fabulous.

Seems like we've got transportation down (even though it looks like our captain is a pig?).

We've already collected the supplies, so all that's left is to pick a date and time to sail!

I hope there is sufficient entertainment on the ship to keep us from getting bored during our trip!

p.s. When's lunch???

Actually Sis, The TL's use Time And Relative Dimensions In Space to get the same effect as my Tessaract Technology. Meaning they have to use way more energy than I do by bending space, where as I simply fold it.

As for ordinance, The Devil's Girl comes with gravitation pulse cannons, magnetic rail guns, and high impact atmospheric density bombs to name but a few.

x,

Just seeing if anyone was still here in the Caves.

It appears most have gone off on some utterly useless mission and will no doubt find themselves in a Time Warp on some Island that will have hostile native girls.

Whilst the males on our team will be fixated by the lack of dress of the native girls they will then find themselves in a hopeless position because the native men will surround the whole group and easily take all their weapons. Trinkets will not help with any of their escape plans.

I suggest, tomsam, despite our age and lack of physical strength, that we use our experience and knowledge of tropical islands (Australia) and we devise a plan to secretly visit the island (via our surfboards) that our friends will have no doubt ended up on.

The rescue will be simple. SuzieQ has lent me her Time Warp Gun and we can just zap ourselves back a few days................everyone is back here in the caves and we give them a thorough tongue lashing about their idiotic attempt.

After all there were no Skulls on that Island. Once they are convinced, we rezap to today.

They, the younger ones, may make further plans for adventure but if I see that that situation is hopeless again then, you tomsam, and I need again to muster what strength we have in order to rescue them yet again.

Our friends must be aware we support their mission but we, you and I, despite but in favour of our age we can offer invaluable advice.

In the meantime old friend please join me in the Billiard Room where the Green Felt and the Crystallite Billiard Balls await. My Butler, Nestor, has chalked our Cues and provided a tray of canape's together with our favourite pre dinner drink.

Cool Cool

Folding time and space . . . hmmm . . . sounds like a great recipe and the perfect use of energy to get us there and back again.

David, please don't miss out on a treatment in Captain's regeneration thingie. He has a more technical name for it, of course, but, we are all going to be the perfect age for this mission. We'll also be in perfect health. Is there anything we've missed before we begin?

Chloe, we'll all have our computers and handheld devices, but, if you'd like to organize any other type of entertainment, that would be great.

Alan, may we rely on you to keep a journal of our adventures? It would make for very interesting reading one day. Maybe someone will actually produce it as a . . . RADIO show! Very Happy What do you think?

Auusiedavid and tomsam,

This is not our first adventure together, and I am way to old to be distracted by any young women. After all I remember Dorothy Lamour which makes me immune to lack of dress.

I also carry a sword and my proficiency is nearly on a par with RickyLynn's. I won't tell you what the others are like in combat but our weapons are only so we do less damage!

And as RickyLynn has suggested, feel free to use the Temporal Regenerator in the Med Lab. The 'Bots will assist you if needed.

Pax.

So, uh, I really don't have to do anything to stall this expedition, do I?

I mean, other than sit back and watch y'all decide on a boat, swap recipes, settle that matter about what age men have reached when they fail to be enchanted by Polynesian curves, and so on.

Yeah . . . I'll just sit here, waiting for us to finally get out on the water--with my cartoonishly large and old-fashioned hand drill barely concealed at my side. Whistle
